He is also a member of the University’s Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, and Southwestern Singers, one of the auditioned vocal ensembles. He maintains a busy schedule of practicing, accompanying, and of course composing while keeping up with his schoolwork.

In his performing life, Jackson is proficient in piano, voice, and most brass, primarily horn. A member of Garland Road Baptist Church in Enid, he previously served as pianist. He is now serving as pianist/keyboardist at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford. He also actively performs with the barbershop quartet The Chordinators, of which he sings lead. Jackson is in high demand to perform at dinners, banquets, and events throughout the state of Oklahoma. Mr. Anderson has been composing and arranging since the 7th grade while attending Guymon Central Junior High. His concert and marching band pieces have been performed by his high school band, the Chisholm Stampede. His religious works have been premiered at his home church in Guymon. He accredits his musical successes to his two grandmothers who have inspired him personally and musically through their piano, vocal, and composition skills, as well as their unshakeable faith. While not attending college, Jackson lives in Enid with his mother, stepfather, and three younger siblings.
