Douglas Court composer / arranger
Douglas Court is a native of Toronto, Canada. His formal training was received at the University of Toronto where he graduated with a Bachelor of music degree. Doug has also studied composition at the University of South Florida.
While living in Toronto, Doug worked as a freelance trumpet player performing with several ensembles such as the Canadian Opera Orchestra. He was also a member of the Canadian Staff Band for five years and
toured extensively with this group.
In July of 1995 Doug moved to Crofton, Maryland with his wife and children to pursue full-time writing. Doug began writing for CMP in 1994.
