Charles Hervé
composer
Pianist
Autor von Ma première année de piano und Ma deuxième année de piano
After his studies at the Lyon Conservatory, he continued his training in Paris with Lazare Lévy and Yves Nat. For several years, he pursued a career as a soloist and teacher before his interest in teaching led him to devote himself fully to piano teaching.
He teaches at several conservatories in the Paris region, notably the one in Fontenay-sous-Bois, and is regularly invited to take part in numerous examination and competition juries (National Schools of Music, European Musical Institute, etc.).
From 1974 to 1994 he regularly participated, within the Fédération Nationale des Unions de Conservatoires Municipaux, in the Commissions elaborating the programmes for the end-of-year competitions of the conservatories. It was in this context that he began his collaboration with Jacqueline Pouillard, which led him to produce with her, at the request of Editions Lemoine, the Méthode de Piano published in 1990, as well as various other pedagogical works (De Bach à nos Jours, Les 101 premières études,...)
