Andrea Ravizza composer / arranger

Andrea Ravizza, born in 1971, is composer, arranger, and orchestra conductor. Since the early 1990s, he has been active as pianist and jazz arranger and has composed and arranged for symphonic, rhythmic-symphonic, and wind orchestras, as well as for soloists and instrumental and vocal ensembles. He has also written and transcribed music for commercials and television shows. His music is characterized by his interest in smooth and sophisticated sounds, which are rich in emotional impact. He achieves this quality by combining jazz music and its derived forms with other musical genres, from Baroque and Romanticism to rock and Argentinian tango. He collaborates as arranger with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale of the RAI.
