Anders John Esbjörn Öhrwall, born 28 November 1932 in Örebro, Sweden, died 4 February 2012 in Stockholm, was a Swedish conductor, composer and arranger.
Öhrwall was church musician at Adolf Fredrik Parish from 1962 to 1999, and as part of this work founded the Adolf Fredrik Bach Choir in 1964, which he directed until 2000. The Bach Choir enjoyed great success both in Sweden and internationally. From 1982 to 1985 he was chief conductor of the Radio Choir. He conducted the Swedish Radio Youth Choir until its closure in 1969. He was also conductor of the Philharmonic Choir associated with the Stockholm Concert Hall for many years. In the 1990s he was conductor of the Phoenix Bach Choir, Arizona, USA, for several years.
Öhrwall was a celebrated baroque performer and harpsichordist in the ensemble Musica Holmiae. He also worked for several years with Nikolaus Harnoncourt and his ensemble Concentus Musicus Wien, with whom he made several recordings of music by Handel and Bach.
