Requiem KV 626 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart / Arr. Andreas van Zoelen
The Requiem', KV. 626, is a requiem mass by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (17561791). Mozart composed part of this requiem in Vienna in late 1791. In many places, Mozart's 'Requiem' was still unfinished, and only sketches existed. At the request of Mozart's wife Constanze, a former student, friend and colleague, Franz Süszmayer, completed the requiem.
Mozart's Requiem' became one of his most popular works. Dutch arranger Andreas van Zoelen transcribed the complete mass for Soloists, Choir and Symphonic Band.
