Lady singer Dame Vera Lewis-Welch, better known as Vera Lynn, performed with the bands of Joe Loss, Charlie Kunz and Ambrose. During the Second World War she inspired all British soldiers involved in the war and got the surname Sweetheart Of The Forces. In the fifties she presented her own B.B.C. television shows. Willy Hautvast arranged her four most famous songs We'll Meet Again, Now Is The Hour, From The Time You Say Goodbye and The White Cliffs Of Dover. (Newly engraved 2016)

La chanteuse Dame Vera Lewis-Welch, mieux connue sous son pseudonyme Vera Lynn, chante d'abord avec les orchestres de Joe Loss, Charlie Kunz et Ambrose. Au cours de la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale, elle inspire tous les soldats britanniques ce qui lui vaut le surnom de Sweetheart Of The Forces (la petite amie des forces armées). Dans les années cinquante elle présente ses propres shows sur les chaînes de télévision de la B.B.C. Willy Hautvast a arrangé ses quatre plus grands succès : We'll Meet Again, Now Is The Hour, From The Time You Say Goodbye et The White Cliffs Of Dover.

Zangeres Dame Vera Lewis-Welch, beter bekend als Vera Lynn, trad op met de bands van Joe Loss, Charlie Kunz en Ambrose. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog inspireerde zij de Britse soldaten en kreeg de bijnaam Sweetheart of the Forces. In de vijftiger jaren had zij haar eigen shows op de BBC televisie. Willy Hautvast bewerkte haar vier grootste successen: We'll Meet Again, Now Is The Hour, From The Time You Say Goodbye en The White Cliffs Of Dover.
