[NO]«Steinrøysa neri bakken» er først og fremst kjent som en av Alf Prøysens mest kjente sanger. Den var først med i hans visebok «Drengstu'viser» i 1948 og ble året etter spilt inn på plate for første gang sammen med sangen «Den skyldige».

Dette arrangementet er gjort så enkelt som mulig og passer godt for korps også med en begrenset besetning. Om man ønsker en kort swing-del, er det lagt til rette for det fra tall 48 til 64.
