This is a Christmas psalm based on the poem in the Bleak Midwinter by the English poet Christina Rossetti and written before 1872 for the magazine Scribner's Monthly. It was publishe posthuma in Rosettis anthology Poetic Works in 1904, and added to the English hymnal in 1906 with music from Gustav Holst.

[NO]Dette er en julesalme basert på diktet In the Bleak Midwinter av den engelske poeten Christina Rossetti og skrevet før 1872 til en diktkonkurranse i tidskriftet "Scribner's Monthly". Den ble gitt ut posthumt i Rosettis antologi Poetic Works i 1904, og tatt inn i den engelske hymneboken i 1906, da tonesatt av Gustav Holst.
