Peter Kleine Schaars machte dieses spritzige Arrangement, für das Harmonie Orchester mit einer Partie für eine Solostimme, möglich. Nach einer langsamen Vorstellung des Themas kommt eine donnernde Swingversion, danach wird auf ein ruhiges Marschtempo übergegangen. If there is one single jazz tune known by old and young people alike all over the world, it is undoubtedly 'Oh when the saints go marching in'. It has been played and recorded in every imaginable way by countless jazz stars from Louis Armstrong to all kinds of New-Orleans and Dixieland bands. Peter Kleine Schaars wrote this sparkling arrangement for symphonic band with solo vocal part. A slow introduction presents the theme and is immediately followed by a roaring swing version; then we get a quieter march tempo, but soon a break on the drums brings us again into a fine swinging tempo. This will be 'top of the bill' for any concert and everybody will love it!

S'il y a un air de jazz connu de par le monde, aussi bien des jeunes que des moins jeunes, c'est bien sûr 'Oh when the saints go marching in' qui a été interprété et enregistré par d'innombrables vedettes de jazz comme Louis Armstrong ou tous les orchestres de style Nouvelle-Orléans et Dixieland et cela de toutes les manières imaginables. Als er één jazzsong is die wereldwijd bij jong en oud bekend is, dan is dat wel 'Oh, when the saints go marching in' dat door talloze jazzvedetten van Louis Armstrong tot alle New-Orleans en Dixielandorkesten ter wereld op alle mogelijke manieren geïnterpreteerd en opgenomen werd. Peter Kleine Schaars zorgde voor dit spetterend arrangement voor harmonieorkest met solo vocale partij. Na een langzame voorstelling van het thema, krijgen we de denderende swingversie, waarna overgeschakeld wordt op een rustig marstempo dat na een break van de drums opnieuw in een meeslepend swingtempo overgaat.
