Im Anfangsstadium der Huggens Epoche war es noch eine Ausnahme, wenn ein Blasorchester über eine Schlagzeugkombination verfügte. Heute gibt es kaum noch ein Blasorchester ohne dieses Instrument. Viele Schlagzeuger in der Welt haben dieses spektakuläre Schlagzeugsolo in ihr Repertoire aufgenommen.

In the early days of Ted Huggens, few wind bands boasted a complete drum set. Nowadays one could hardly imagine a wind band without such a set. Many drummers all over the world included this spectacular solo in their repertoire.

A l'époque des débuts de Ted Huggens peu d'orchestres à vent disposaient d'une batterie. De nos jours, on ne pourrait imaginer un orchestre à vent sans batterie. De nombreux batteurs dans le monde entier ont repris ce solo spectaculaire à leur répertoire.
