The Credo was commissioned to be added to Serge Lancen's 'Missa Solemnis'. This work was performed during the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the wind band 'Musikkapelle Zwölfmalgreinen' of Bolzano in Italy. The Credo was premiered by this band conducted by Markus Silbernagl during this Mass celebration in the Franciscan Church at Bolzano on March 19, 1995.

Credo a été demandé pour être ajouté à la Missa Solemnis de Serge Lancen, l'oeuvre choisie pour accompagner musicalement la Messe de commémoration du 75ème anniversaire de la fondation de l'orchestre d'Harmonie 'Musikkapelle Zwolfmalgreien' de Bolzano (Italie). Credo a donc été créé à cette Messe de jubilé célébrée en l'Eglise des Franciscains de Bolzano, le 19 mars '95. L'ensemble a été donné sous la direction du chef d'orchestre Markus Silbernagl.

Dit Credo werd besteld om aan de Missa Solemnis van Serge Lancen toegevoegd te worden voor de uitvoering tijdens de Eucharistieviering ter gelegenheid van de 75ste verjaardag van het harmonieorkest 'Musikkapelle Zwölfmalgreinen' van Bolzano in Italië. Dit Credo werd dus gecreëerd tijdens deze Jubelmis opgedragen in de Francis-canerkerk van Bolzano op 19 maart 1995. Het geheel stond onder de leiding van Markus Silbernagl.
