Night Journey vividly describes a nocturnal cross country train ride and the views and impressions of the evocative and darkened landscape. The stark imagery and introspective tone are startlingly reflected through the creative and colorful sounds infused with blues and other jazz references, as well as allusions to the power and movement of the machinery of the locomotive.
