Gioia, original for brass and percussion ensemble. Commissioned by the fantastic horn musician and friend Quico Rico who gave this small piece to his sisters as a gift. The musical discourse was built from a small motif that appears throughout the piece in order to create great lyrical lines and to exploit the sonority and elegance of the brass ensemble. The symphonic band version is commissioned by the 'Banda Municipal de Vitoria-Gasteiz' and their conductor Luis Orduña.
