«Come Fly With Me» was written in 1957 by Sammy Cahn and James van Heusen for Frank Sinatra and his new record album also entitled Come Fly With Me The record was released the year after and became one of many Sinatra successes in the 50's. After the record release, the song was on Sinatra's concert repertoire for countless occations. Many other artists have recorded and performed the song. One of the later is Canadian singer Michael Bublé, who also has an album recording bearing that title. Come Fly With Me is also featured in many movies, among these are Catch Me If You Can from 2002. This arrangement was written by Lars Erik Gudim for The Norwegian Air Force Band in Trondheim.

[NO]«Come Fly With Me» ble skrevet i 1957 av Sammy Cahn og James van Heusen til Frank Sinatra og hans platealbum med same navn. Platen ble utgitt året etter og ble en av hans mange store suksesser på 50-tallet. Etter dette ble låten en del av Sinatras faste konsertrepertoar. Den er siden spilt inn- og fremført en rekke ganger av andre artister. Blant de siste som har hatt suksess med «Come Fly With Me» er canadieren Michael Bublé som også har gitt et av sine album navn etter denne låten.
Den er også med som en del av soundtracket i en rekke filmer, deriblant «Catch Me If You Can» fra 2002. Dette arrangementet ble skrevet av Lars Erik Gudim til Luftforsvarets Musikkorps i Trondheim.
