Marrakets de San Blai (marcha mora) Rubén Penadés Silvestre

This march is written in gratitude for the ten years' friendship between the Marrakets troupe from Alicante's San Blai neighbourhood, and Ontinyent's el Regall troupe. Furthermore, we also want to recognise the former's excellent work, both with musicians and with the festival itself.

Meanwhile, the style of this march pays humble homage to the Valencian composer Amando Blanquer Ponsoda. Thus, it uses the popular Alcoy melody from Ball de belles (Dance of Beauties) to create the piece's key elements.
