The Bells of Christmas Robert Longfield

An insipiring composition which features narration based on the story of how Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote the famous carol, I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day. The hand bell choir part (3 octaves) is totally optional, but gives the director a method of involving local hand bell choirs in the holiday concert. The narration is essential to the performance and also provides an opportunity to involve a local dignitary into the performance. Very distinctive and unique.
