In that time Wagner wrote and premiered 'Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg' as well as 'Tristan und Isolde' had seen the light of day and may have left their marks. The score is based on the volumes 12/I-III (RWA 112-10, 112-20, 112-30) of the Wagner Complete Edition.
