Auf Stillem Waldespfad op. 9/1 Richard Strauss / Arr. Albert Oliver Davis

The title means "In Silent Forests." Richard Strauss composed it for piano during the same period of his life as Allerseelen. Albert Oliver Davis gave us both of these arrangements for band and now we are able to present the sister work to this standard of band repertoire. Auf Stillem Waldespfad is fun to conduct with its ever-stretching phrases and changing colors. This will become another classic!
