Blechbläser-Quartett: Gaudeamus Richard Proulx

Written for brass quartet, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, with optional timpani, "Gaudeamus" or "Let Us Rejoice" requires a bit of manual dexterity on the part of the organist but, is generally an accessible piece to play for all of the forces. The organ and brass interplay along with the timpani make this piece sound full and powerful. Perfect for an Easter postlude, "Gaudeamus" exudes great joy and excitement.
