'The World Tour' has emerged from the practical work with a budding children's orchestra. The collection consists of both well-known songs and songs from the children's home countries. It is suitable as a first introduction into chamber music playing. By using different techniques (pizzicato, con sordino, solo and tutti), a colourful string orchestra setting is created which forms a beautiful sound image for a children's orchestra. To enable the children to grasp the melodic parts as songs, the song text has been added, whenever possible.

Le "Voyage autour du monde" est le résultat d'un travail de pratique avec un orchestre d'enfants à ses débuts. Des chansons de nombreux pays composent la collection. Celle-ci est une première introduction au jeu d'ensemble. Mais, grâce à l'emploi de diverses techniques (pizzicato, con sordino, solo et tutti), se crée aussi un arrangement coloré d'orchestre à cordes. Une belle image sonore pour un orchestre d'enfants ! Afin de permettre aux enfants de reconnaître les chansons dans les parties mélodiques, on a, dans la mesure du possible, ajouté les textes.
