The Day the Clowns Cried Quincy C. Hilliard

This is a moving and very touching composition. The program is that when the Big Top, in 1947 burned down and several in audience perished. Most of the composition, the first trumpets does not play higher than G, but in the later section of the song, the trumpet plays C above the staff. All clarinets play above the break.
