In his Opus 1, the young Locatelli succeeded in preserving the traditional method of composition while nevertheless being open to new influences. This collection follows Corelli's famous Op. 6 and, like that, is divided into eight 'Concerti da chiesa' and four 'Concerti da camera', with the eighth work, like Corelli's, being structured like a Christmas concerto. The study score is based on the Locatelli Complete Edition which makes the works of the Italian master available in accordance with the most recent research and current musicological editing techniques. Dans son op. 1, le jeune Locatelli parvient à préserver la méthode de composition traditionnelle tout en se montrant ouvert à des influences nouvelles. Cette collection s'appuie sur le célèbre op. 6 de Corelli et se divise de même en huit 'concerti da chiesa' et quatre 'concerti da camera', la huitième oeuvre étant, comme chez Corelli, un concerto de Noel. La partition de poche se base sur l'Edition intégrale de Locatelli qui met en accord les oeuvres du maître italien avec les méthodes les plus récentes de la recherche musicologique.
