Tom Davis has crafted a superb chart for the medium-level player. Tom delivers plenty of creative contrapuntal development as he weaves through this jazz standard along with a nice shout chorus and solo space written or ad-lib for alto and tenor saxes. Everybody has some meaty parts, lead trumpet only goes to written A, and there are optional parts for flute, horn, baritone horn, and tuba. Great as an opener or a closer.
