Peter Laine has got a long and rich career with entertainment (and more serious) music. His experience, with a.o. the famous Swiss ensemble 'Hazy Osterwald Sextett' and several bands and radio orchestras in Switzerland, The Netherlands and Belgium, still fertilizes his original and extremely well orchestrated compositions for symphonic band. A nice example is this beautiful and expressive ballad which he dedicated to his charming wife Winy. A fine illustration of how woman's love is still the ideal muse nowadays

Peter Laine a roulé sa bosse dans tous les milieux de la musique légère et moins légère. Son expérience avec entre autres le célèbre ensemble suisse 'Hazy Osterwald' et plusieurs orchestres radiophoniques en Suisse, aux Pays-Bas et en Belgique se ressent fort bien dans ses compositions et arrangements pour orchestre d'harmonie. Voici un bel exemple, la très belle ballade expressive qu'il a dédiée à sa compagne 'Winy'. Vous entendrez que la femme reste toujours la muse idéale pour un compositeur.

Zijn ervaring met o.m. het beroemde Zwitserse 'Hazy Osterwald Sextet' en diverse internationale ensembles en radio-orkesten in Zwitserland, Nederland en België blijft neerslag vinden in zijn originele en fantastisch georkestreerde composities voor harmonieorkest. Getuige hiervan deze mooie en zeer expressieve ballade die hij aan zijn lieve vrouw Winy opdroeg. Luister maar hoe ook nu nog de vrouwelijke muze inspireren kan.
