That's the Spirit ! est une uvre douce et stimulante qui offre aux orchestres de jeunes et aux orchestres dont le programme est plus restreint la possibilité d'ouvrir leur programme de concert d'une manière attrayante. Le tambour régulier et l'entrée de percussion fournissent une base rythmique d'entraînement. Les différentes sections de vents de l'orchestre contribuent à l'ensemble avec des thèmes impressionnants et parfois des lignes mélodiques discrètes.
