At the age of seven, Olga Neuwirth was given her first trumpet lessons. From that point of view, being the first work for solo trumpet up to now, it certainly occupies a special position in her oeuvre. The world premiere of the demanding 8-minute piece took place at the 'musica' festival in Strasburg on 24 September 2006.

Olga Neuwirth prit ses premiers cours de trompette à l'âge de sept ans et, de ce point de vue, sa première composition pour trompette seule prend certainement une place particulière dans son oeuvre. La première audition de cette pièce exigeante de 8 minutes a eu lieu au festival "musica" de Strasbourg le 24 septembre 2006.
