Hispanico, nennt man einen im Ausland lebenden Spanier. Ein in Portugal lebender Spanier [Hispanico], geht eines Tages zum dortigen Stierkampf und ist davon so beeindruckt, sodass er sich entscheidet, dass bunte Treiben musikalisch festzulegen.
Das Stück folgt chronologisch dem emotionellen auf und ab einer Person während des Stierkampfes. Ruhige Passagen, kontrastieren mit impulsiven, aufgeregten wie dem Abschnitt, nach dem Trio, der eine Brücke ins Finale des Stückes schlägt.

Hispanico (Hispanic) is the name a Spanish citizen is given when living in another country. One day, a Spaniard (Hispânico), decides to watch a tourada (bull fight) in Portugal and becomes amazed at the diversity of these events. He therefore feels the need to report all those events he has seen, not in textual form, but in musical notes. In chronological order, the piece assembles all the events lived by that same person in that bull fight, with contrasting calm moments and more agitated moments, such as the section following the trio, which serves as a bridge into the final phase of the piece.

Hispanico est le nom donné aux Espagnoles vivant dans un pays étranger. Un jour, un Spagniard (Hispanico), décide de regarder une bataille de taureaux au Portugal et est abasourdi par la diversité de ces évènements. C'est pour cette raison qu'il ressent la nécessité de relater ces moments sous une forme musicale. Cette pièce relate de façon chronologique les évènements vécus par une même personne lors de cette bataille de taureaux, avec des contrastes entre moments calmes et moments plus agités, comme la section suivant le trio, qui sert de pont vers le mouvement final de la pièce.

Hispanico is de benaming voor een in het buitenland wonende Spanjaard. Op een dag besluit een Spanjaard (Hispånico) naar het stierenvechten te gaan en is daar zo van onder de indruk dat hij de behoefte heeft om al zijn belevenissen op muziek te zetten. Dit stuk volgt in chronologische volgorde de indrukken van één man tijdens het stierengevecht, van kalme tot zeer opgejaagde passages, zoals het gedeelte na het trio wat een brug vormt naar de finale van het werk.
