Kapustin composed the 3 Etudes Op. 67 in 1992. The first étude, entitled "Glissandi," is written in a swing jazz mood. In No. 2 "Ripetizione" the difficulty lies in the complexity of the rhythm. No.3 "Grappole" contains hand clusters in quasi "grape form".

C'est en 1992 que Kapustin a composé ses 3 Études Op. 67 : la première Étude, titré « Glissandi » est écrite dans une atmosphère de jazz-swing. Dans le glissando, chaque note doit être clairement audible et de même qualité que ses voisines. Dans l'Étude n° 2, « Ripetizione », la difficulté provient de la complexité rythmique. Le n° 3, « Grappole », recèle un cluster de notes quasiment en forme de grappe de raisin.
