With 'Wind On The Hill' the composer Naoya Wada brings an ode to his youth. As a child he lived in a house that stood on a hill. From there he had a view of the nearby town, the amusement park and the annual fireworks in the bay. All these elements and, as the title suggests, the wind on the hill, were incorporated into 'Wind On The Hill'. Naoya moved away from the hill when he was eighteen years old.

Composer Naoya Wada has written Wind On The Hill as an ode to his youth. As a child he lived in a house on a steep hill. From here he had a clear view of the nearby town, the amusement park, and the yearly firework display in the bay. All of these aspects as well as the wind as the title suggests have been worked into the piece. Naoya left the hill at age eighteen.

Avec Wind On The Hill' le compositeur Naoya Wade rend hommage à sa jeunesse. Enfant, il vivait dans une maison qui était construite sur une colline en pente douce. De là, il avait une vue sur la ville proche, le parc d'attraction et de loisirs, et le feu d'artifice annuel dans la baie. Tout ces éléments, ainsi que (comme fait supposer le titre) le vent dans la colline, sont intégrés dans la composition Wind On The Hill'. Naoya quittait la colline quand il avait dix-huit ans.

Met Wind On The Hill brengt componist Naoya Wada een ode aan zijn jeugd. Als kind woonde hij in een huis dat op een licht glooiende heuvel lag. Van daaruit had hij zicht op de nabijgelegen stad, het amusementspark en het jaarlijkse vuurwerk in de baai. Al deze elementen en, zoals de titel al doet vermoeden, ook de wind op de heuvel, zijn verwerkt in Wind On The Hill. Naoya vertrok van de heuvel toen hij achttien was.
