The opening movement features spritely rhythms and tuneful melodies and includes an energy which will appeal to students and audiences alike! A delightful slower section includes solos for flute and trumpet which lay very well for those instruments. All in all, it's an effective piece that is a great concert or festival choice and an excellent teaching piece for any mid-level band. This one is Special!
