Michel Carros is the pen name chosen by a well-known Dutch wind band music composer to sign some compositions in the lighter vein. Among those compositions is this short but joyful piece 'The Happy Mill of Jensen'. The sails of this typical Dutch windmill turn happily in this allegretto which suggests the Dutch joy of living.

Michel Carros est le pseudonyme qu'a utilisé un compositeur néerlandais connu de musique pour orchestre à vents pour signer quelques oeuvres de caractère léger. Parmi celles-ci, cette pièce assez brève, mais fort plaisante 'Le Joyeux Moulin de Jensen'. Les ailes de ce moulin typique dans le paysage hollandais, tournent à coeur joie dans cet allegretto qui exprime la joie de vivre néerlandaise.
