[EN]Highland Cathedral is a well known and widely used melody in the Scottish Bagpipe tradition. The song is used in all kind of Scottish events, including weddings. I has even been proposed as the new Scottish national anthem.
Most people don’t know that it has been written by two German composers for a German version of the “Highland Games”, a contest in traditional Scottish sports.

In this arrangement, the snare drum part may be doubled, while the drum kit part are optional.

[NO]Highland Cathedral er en meget godt kjent melodi i den skotske sekkepipetradisjonen, og mye brukt i alle typiske “skotske” anledninger, også i brylluper.
Den har til og med blitt foreslått som skotsk nasjonalsang! Det de fleste ikke vet er at den er skrevet av to tyskere til en tysk versjon av en såkalt “highland games”, en konkurranse i tradisjonelle skotske idretter.

I dette arrangementet kan godt skarptrommestemmen dobles, mens trommesettstemmen kan utelates.
