WERKBESCHREIBUNG:



TIMEFLOW entstand im Auftrag des Musikvereins Neuhausen im Enzkreis e.V. zum 150-jährigen Jubiläum. Die Uraufführung fand am 10. Mai 2026 statt, unter dem Motto: Im Fluss der Zeit

Abends, als der Tag beendet
und die Arbeit war vollbracht,
hat ein Goldschmied, still und leise,
auf den Heimweg sich gemacht.
Hoch am Himmel stehen Sterne
niemals schuf die Menschenhand.
Solchen Schmuck, der zu der Ferne
zauberhaft den Blick gebannt.

Neuhausen (Baden-Württemberg in Deutschland) lag bis zum Bau der Nagoldbahn im Jahr 1870, abseits jeglichen Verkehrs. Die Goldschmiede, auch Rassler gennant, mussten täglich den Weg, den Flüssen entlang, nach Pforzheim und zurück zu Fuß marschieren - etwa 2,5 Stunden hin und meistens noch länger wieder zurück. Sie gingen morgens um 4 Uhr fort und kamen abends um 23 Uhr nach Hause. Woher der Name Rassler kommt, ist bis heute nicht eindeutig geklärt. Doch zur Ausrüstung vieler Goldschmiedspendler gehörte ein Essgeschirr. Nach getaner Arbeit wurde das Geschirr umgehängt und der Heimweg begann. Dabei tanzte das Besteck und verursachte ein unüberhörbares Klappern und Rasseln.

In the evening, when the day was over
and the work was done,
a goldsmith, quietly and softly,
set off on his way home.
High in the sky, stars shine
never created by human hands.
Such adornments that, from afar,
enchantingly captivate the gaze.

Neuhausen (Baden-Württemberg, Germany) lay isolated from all traffic until the construction of the Nagold Railway in 1870. The goldsmiths, also known as Rassler, had to walk the route along the rivers to Pforzheim and back every day about 2.5 hours each way, and usually even longer on the return trip. They set out at 4 a.m. and arrived home at 11 p.m. The origin of the name Rassler remains unclear to this day. However, many of these goldsmith commuters carried a set of tableware with them. After a day's work, they would sling the tableware over their shoulders and begin the journey home. As they walked, the cutlery would jingle and rattle, making an unmistakable clatter.
