Illphonie Martin Schorn

The work Illphonie' deals with the power of water as the lifeline of civilisation and hydropower as a source of energy. Rain pipes, natural sounds and alpine sounds create an atmosphere at the beginning, after which the three-movement work, arranged in an arc, develops well and expressively. The final passage exudes a cheerful confidence.
