Derivations Marco Pütz

The piece Derivations' is based on a small motif (only 3 - later 4 different notes), which gradually undergoes more or less drastic changes. Pütz has already used this technique in several compositions. The structure of the work is uncomplicated (fast - slow - fast), the technical and musical requirements correspond to those of a classical competition piece'. The composition is dedicated to the commissioning fanfare Kunst en Vriendschap, Partij-Wittem' and the conductor Paul Oligschläger. This composition was selected as a compulsory piece in the concert section fanfare' at the WMC Kerkrade 2005.
