The movie Karsten and Petra become best friends opened in cinemas in 2013. The movie became a huge success and is now a part of most DVD shelves in families with children. The film is about Karsten and Petra, two 5 year olds who attend the same nursery. Along with Miss Rabbit and Lion Kid (two stuffed animals), they go out on adventures, but one day Miss Rabbit is gone missing.
The movie is based on Tor Åge Bringsværds known children's books and is directed by Arne Lindtner Næss. The music is written by Lars Kilevold who also is the writer of songs as "Livet er for kjipt" and "Ute til lunsj"Monn-Iversen.

[NO]Barnefilmen Karsten og Petra blir bestevenner hadde kinopremiere 15. februar 2013. Filmen ble en stor hit og står nå i de fleste DVD-hyller hos barnefamilier. Filmen handler om Karsten og Petra, to 5-åringer som går i samme barnehage. Sammen med Frøken Kanin og Løveungen drar de på små og store eventyr, men en dag blir Frøken Kanin borte.
Filmen er basert på Tor Åge Bringsværds kjente barnebøker og er regissert av Arne Lindtner Næss. Musikken er skrevet av Lars Kilevold som blant annet står bak sangene Livet er for kjipt og Ute til lunsj

Fly, ja fly! er en av filmens mest kjente låter, og den benyttes også i de fleste espisodene av TV-seriene med Karsten og Petra.
