Trond-Viggo Torgersen has published several recordings for children, and won the Norwegian Grammy award Spellemannsprisen in 1981 for the album "Det by'ner nå" with Georg Keller. Many famous songs is signed Trond-Viggo; Tenke Sjæl, Slapp Reggae, Stilig and Puss, puss, så får du en suss and of course Hjalmar. Torgersen has also written plays for the theatre. "Hjalmar and Flode" has been performed at the Oslo Nye Teater, Hordaland Theatre and Rogaland Theatre.
