A moto perpetuo showpiece, Chatterbox! was commissioned by Joo Yeon Sir for performance in the Young Artist Series at St John's Smith Square, London, in May 2016. The incessant babble implied by the title is aptly portrayed by the violin's spiccato bowing and chromatic figuration, as set against the boogie-woogie-style piano part. To add to the effect a metronome (set to 140 beats per minute) may be optionally be added. Alternative accompaniment for string orchestra is available on hire from Boosey & Hawkes.

Pièce brillante au mouvement perpétuel, Chatterbox! fut commandé par Joo Yeon Sir pour une performance des Young Artist Series au St John Smith's Square de Londres en Mai 2016. Le babillage continuel que laisse suggérer le titre est représenté au violon par le spicatto et les arrangements chromatiques et doit s'opposer à la partie de piano et à son style boogie-woogie.
