The easy violin duos by Johann Sebastian Bach, arranged by Gustav Lenzewski, have always been very popular. Wolfgang Birtel has re-edited the collection, adopting the entire arrangement except for a few movements and adding further well-known pieces by Bach. The level of difficulty ranges from very easy to advanced. The original fingering and bowing have all been maintained; numerous articulation marks, however, have been deleted as they do no longer correspond to the modern way of playing Baroque music. The ideal edition for music lessons or music-making at home.

Les duos faciles pour violon de Jean-Sébastien Bach, dans l'arrangement de Gustav Lenzewski, ont toujours joui d'une grande popularité. Pour cette réédition, Wolfgang Birtel a adopté l'arrangement complet du recueil à l'exception de quelques mouvements et l'a complété avec quelques pièces de Bach connues. Le degré de difficulté varie de très facile à avancé. Les doigtés et coups d'archet d'origine ont été maintenus, en revanche de nombreux signes d'articulation, ne correspondant plus à la manière actuelle de jouer la musique baroque, ont été supprimés. Un recueil idéal pour les cours de violon ou pour jouer chez soi en famille.
