Cinetisme Semperià Javier Urena Andreu

Cinetisme Semperià is composed to commemorate the centenary of the birth of the artist Eusebio Sempere. For this reason, this work aims to represent the main artistic ideas that encompass the artist's most important production. The first section focuses on symbolising his sculptures, generally geometrical pieces made of metal that are moved by the action of an external agent.

The second section symbolises his paintings, silkscreen prints in which colour and light have spatial and kinetic possibilities. The title of the work refers to the artistic movement promoted by Eusebio Sempere in Spain, being one of the first to introduce the stylistic current of Kinetic Art in the Peninsula, an aesthetic that is very present in all his production.
