Trio F-Dur Nr. 1 Flöte, Horn und Fagott Jaques Christian Michel Widerkehr / Arr. Robert Ostermeyer

Partitur und Stimmen
Jacques Christian Michel Widerkehr was an Alsatian composer and cellist of the classical era. He was born in Strasbourg on April 18th, 1759 and died in Paris in April 1823. He is best known for his instrumental compositions, especially his symphonic concertantes for several wind instruments, or wind sinfonias. He claimed to be a student of Dumonchau, professor of the cello in Strasbourg and father of the pianist Charles-François Dumonchau. [His] trios for flute, horn and bassoon were composed around 1820, and published for the first time in Paris by Boieldieu Jeunne. The style and development of the compositions can be compared with the famous woodwind quintets of Anton Reicha (1770-1836), which were also published in Paris about that time.
