Commissioned by the Cathedral Organists' Association [UK] in celebration of its centenary, and first performed at the Association's annual meeting in York Minster in May 2019. Text: Magnificat and Nunc dimittis (English) from the Book of Common Prayer (1662), the standard for Church of England choral evensong. A concise and accessible setting for general use which will be seized upon by church and school choirs of intermediate standard.

Cette uvre a été commandée par la Cathedral Organists' Association britannique à l'occasion de leurs cent ans d'existence, et la première a eu lieu en mai 2019 dans la cathédrale d'York lors du rassemblement annuel. Le texte est basé sur le Magnificat et le Nunc dimittis (dans une traduction anglaise) du Book of Common Prayer (1662), ainsi que sur des textes liturgiques standards des prières du soir, avec le chant choral de l'Église d'Angleterre. C'est une mise en musique prégnante et facile d'accès pour l'usage général, en particulier pour les churs d'église et d'école d'un niveau intermédiaire.
