Ron Howard's movie picture 'Apollo 13' starring Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Bill Paxton and Gary Sinise was one of the three most successful films of 1995. It tells the story of the third space voyage to the moon which was a failure and almost had some real tragic consequences. The film was a big success thanks to the big movie star Tom Hanks, but also James Horner's soundtrack got a lot of attention and was really appreciated by the audiences. Ton van Grevenbroek made this fine representative selection.
