With mixed meter, juxtaposed melodies, thick harmonies, short solo exposures, burnished and brilliant brass passages, all applied to tunes Americans hold dear, including America the Beautiful, Columbia the Gem of the Ocean, and the Battle Hymn of the Republic, among others, this is another wonderful work for advanced bands.
