The American singer and actress Diana Ross was soloist with the popular female group 'The Supremes' from 1964 to 1969. With the song 'You keep me hanging on' the group was number one in the hitparade for twelve consecutive weeks. In 1970 Ross started a solo career both as singer and actress (Lady sings the Blues 1972). Many of her songs, such as Touch me in the Morning (1972), Love Hangover (1976) and Endless Love (1982) became extremely popular. The famous Dutch bandleader, composer and arranger Pi Scheffer made this splendid arrangement combining some of Ross's successful songs. La chanteuse et actrice américaine Diana Ross a été de 1964 à 1969 la vedette du très populaire groupe féminin 'The Supremes'. Avec la chanson 'You keep me hanging on' ce groupe a été placé douze fois de suite numéro un au hitparade. En 1970 Diana Ross entame une carrière de soliste comme chanteuse et comme actrice de cinéma (Lady sings the Blues 1972). Ses grands succès ont été Touch me in the Morning (1972), Love Hangover (1976) et Endless Love (1982). L'excellent compositeur et arrangeur néerlandais Pi Scheffer a écrit ce splendide arrangement qui réunit quelques unes des plus belles chansons de Ross. De Amerikaanse zangeres en actrice Diana Ross was van 1964 tot 1969 de zangvedette van de vrouwelijke succesgroep 'The Supremes' die met het liedje 'You keep me hanging on' twaalf maal nummer één in de hitparade werd. In 1970 ging Ross de solotoer op als zangeres en actrice (Lady sings the Blues 1972). Haar grote vocale successen waren o. m.
