With 'The Fallen Kingdoms', Hermann Pallhuber creates a musical reflection on lost empires and their legacy. The

competitions.

Met 'The Fallen Kingdoms' schetst Hermann Pallhuber een muzikaal beeld van verdwenen koninkrijken en hun
nalatenschap. Het werk werd gecomponeerd in opdracht van de Blasmusikverband Baden-Württemberg e.V. als verplicht
werk voor de concertwedstrijden 2025.
Een ingetogen begin met een eenvoudige melodie en syncopeerde ritmes schept een sfeer van herinnering. Een
levendige dans in 8/8 maat brengt energie en lichtheid, gevolgd door een koraalachtig middendeel dat reflecteert op
menselijke waarden.
Het begin keert terug en mondt uit in een krachtige slotfanfare, waardoor een boog ontstaat van verlies naar kracht en
vernieuwing.
