The Dutch trumpet player Harald Suilen (1968) studied composition and arranging for big band at the Hilversum conservatory of music. He has composed and arranged already quite a lot for wind band. This festive 'Marche Célèbre' was composed on the occasion of the 175th anniversary of the wind band 'Koninklijk Philharmonisch Gezelschap' at Venlo in the Dutch province of Limburg.
