Music for the movie Orions Belt was written by Geir Bøhren and Bent Åserud. They traveled to the archipelago of Svalbard to find inspiration for the music, the music is therefore based on the dramatic nature of Svalbard rather than the plot of the movie. Svalbardtema has become an anthem for the Svalbard archipelago.

[NO]Musikken til filmen Orions belte er skrevet av Geir Bøhren og Bent Åserud. De reiste til Svalbard for å finne inspirasjon til musikken, musikken til filmen er derfor basert på naturinntrykkene fra Svalbard mer enn handlingen i filmen. Svalbardtema har blitt en nasjonalsang for Svalbardøyene.
