Gertl Jahns is in fact a well-known Dutch wind band music composer. He wrote this litle Latin-American sounding piece for wind band and was inspired by the 'Bajon', a typical Brazilian folkdance tune. The thrilling rhythm and the exotic touch will bring the sun and a lot of joy of living in both the rehearsal room and the concert hall.

Gertl Jahns, en fait un compositeur néerlandais de musique pour orchestre à vent très connu, a écrit cette petite pièce pour orchestre d'harmonie ou de fanfare qui nous emmène en Amérique Latine. Le 'bajón' est une danse typique du Brésil avec ses ingrédients inévitables comme le rythme et l'exotisme. Avec ce morceau vous amenez le soleil et la joie de vivre dans votre salle de concert, sans compter les gens qui auront des fourmis dans les jambes.

Gertl Jahns, in feite een geliefd Nederlands hafacomponist, schreef dit Latijns-amerikaans getint stukje voor harmonie- of fanfareorkest. Het is zelfs geschikt voor drumfanfare. De 'Bajon' is een typische Braziliaanse volksdans, wat de ingrediënten als exotiek en ritme ten volle verantwoordt. Met dit stuk haal je zowel danskriebels als zon en levensvreugde in huis (ook in repetitie- en concertzaal).
